Advent One: Hope for Things to Come
You are welcome here! It’s the First Sunday in Advent – HOPE Sunday – and we are eagerly excited for the HOPE that is to come! Come and join us in a time of worship, celebration and fellowship as we sing a few Advent favorites like, “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel” and hear Pastor Dave’s message of inspiration, “Hope of Things to Come”. At this time of Thanksgiving, we take this opportunity to, as Paul wrote to the Romans, “thank God through Jesus Christ for you all“!
We thank you, our church family, friends and community, for your help and support throughout the year, and for your encouragement, patience and understanding in and through all things. Together, we have done well!
May God, by and through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, bless and keep you in this time of Thanksgiving and beyond. May He grant you a sense of peace and joy, hope and love, that simply surpasses all understanding and may His grace keep you safe and warm.

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service Live Stream
Join us for a special ecumenical Thanksgiving service on Tuesday, November 23, 7pm – in person or online. All are welcome to join us! We will join together in worship and fellowship with the members and friends of the Federated Church of Sturbridge & Fiskdale and the First United Methodist Church of Southbridge for a special evening of giving thanks to God for all He has blessed us with.
